GDPR. It is a game changer, a good thing, but it’s going to be a pain in the **** for small businesses.
We’ve read, discussed, and taken legal advice on GDRP.
There will be remedial action, which will take time and cost money. It’s not our fault. It’s not your fault.
So we’re going to do some good!
I’ve got 2 young children and I am concerned about the digital world we live in and the impact on their lives. Our industry is all about digital and technology, so we’re partly to blame – but I appreciate how important it is to get muddy, muck about in trees, cycle and be outdoors!
With the profits from the work we undertake on GDPR compliance, we’re going to fund Forest Schools for May Half Term 2018 to put on activities for children to get them outdoors and away from digital and technology!
We’re also going to be working with them for free throughout next year on improving their digital marketing, to help them get more children outdoors.
The GDPR deadline is 25th May, (Swansea) Half Term is the 26th May to 3rd June.
We’ll be announcing further details in the weeks to come, but if you’d like advice on the practical changes for websites, digital marketing and GDPR, then just drop us a line on info@copperbaycreative.co.uk.
