Accessibility Services is a charitable enterprise who are part of Shaw Trust with over 30 years’ combined experience in delivering high quality, professional accessibility services.
Shaw Trust Accessibility Services approached us when they decided to re-design and re-build their website. The existing site wasn’t mobile responsive, didn’t support the aims and objectives of Accessibility Services and looked dated. They had meetings with several web agencies around the UK and requested a proposal to be sent in by each before a set deadline in order to decide who they wanted to create their website.
Our team were delighted when we found out they chose us to carry out this work for them based on our proposal presentation and what we had to offer. With the go-ahead given we arranged an initial meeting to get to know our clients and understand their needs and what outcomes they were looking to achieve.
The main goal of this website was to showcase the services offered and make their website user and mobile friendly. They also wanted to incorporate their team members into the site making the overall experience a little more personal.
Our design team started by working on initial sketches and and then wire-framing using Adobe XD. Quickly working on rough layouts we had mapped out the key pages and user journey. Once these were finalised we then brought the design to life by adding the logo, incorporating the brand colours and creating custom graphics along with photography which was supplied by our client.
We built a website that included a WordPress CMS (content management system) to enable the client full access to update the sites content, images and videos. There was also some custom development which we had worked on for the accreditation section. Full CMS training is always provided with our packages and all websites are fully mobile responsive and optimised for various devices and screen sizes.
We loved working the Shaw Trust Accessibility Services and we look forward to continuing to support them with their website in the future!
