1. Be consistent
This one is important if you’re going to start putting content out there on social media please make sure you are posting regularly and stick to the same overall theme. This is important as these posts will have a big reflection on your brand’s identity. However, be careful not to bombard your audiences with loads of posts a day. We would generally say stick to one or two posts a day.
2. Know your audience and engage with them
Before you can do any sort of social media marketing you need to understand your audience. Once you know who your audience is you can choose the most suitable tone and platform for that audience. For example, if your target audience is 18-30-year-olds your best choice of platform will probably be Instagram. But this of course also depends on the product or service you are providing.
3. Be creative in your content
Finally, the kind of content you are putting out there is so important. Be creative, you need to catch your audiences eye. You can do this by using images, video and unique content. When creating content, you need to be careful that you don’t oversell to your audiences. Let your audiences get to know you and the team a little bit, interact with them rather than telling them constantly why they should buy your service or product.
